A programme set up to support Sandwell’s business community has welcomed a newcomer, adding further skills and insight to an already luminous team.
Paul Hull has joined Sandwell Business Ambassadors, a group of high-profile local business leaders who act as advocates for companies in the borough.
As owner and director of KMB Shipping Group, Paul brings over 20 years of experience in the importing and exporting industry not only to the Sandwell Business Ambassadors, but to every Sandwell business seeking advice or a stronger voice.
Sandwell Business Ambassadors was launched in March 2016 with the aim of utilising the strength of local high-profile businesses, enabling their leaders to act as advocates for the borough of Sandwell and develop its business base.
The key objectives of Sandwell Business Ambassadors are to engage with the business community, establish links between different sectors, help with fixing skills gaps in the workforce, and promote Sandwell as a great place to work.
Paul is off to a strong start with the latter. As a Wednesbury boy, he knows the area well.
“I’m so proud to be a Sandwell Business Ambassador and give my support in raising the profile of Sandwell even further. I’ve grown up in the area and know what a great place it is to live and work. I’m looking forward to meeting local businesses and contributing towards the success of the Sandwell community,” he said.
